KATERINA MATHESON
Katerina is a London based curator working in the contemporary arts. Focusing on the idea of unpredictability as part of a curatorial practice, Katerina is interested in different approaches to researching, collaborating, and programming as a way of incorporating uncertainty and opacity into working structures.
As curator at Shake Gallery (2022-24), she developed conceptual group shows and introduced numerous emerging artists into the programme. In her previous role at Looking Forward C.I.C, Katerina managed the 'Screening Room Programme' (2021) which she evolved into the 'Deptford Film Club' (2021-2022), a series of live screening and Q&A events involving international/ local artists and local communities.
